Virtual Reality Thesis

Thesis
2021
Design thesis created on the research of responsive parenting, and the nature of attachment theory. The main deliverable is an artistic interpretation of how a caregiver can be more responsive and develop healthy bonds to their child.
Summary
Pegia is a crafted VR experiment, whose main interaction control is to "perceive" between two worlds. One is static and familiar - the other is unfamiliar and always moving in possibility. This design is a vessel to describe the ongoing need to process interactions and perspectives from a child's point of view; so as a parent they may engage and interact with them to bond and develop together.
